Our History
Independent Trading Group (ITG) was established by a group of Toronto Floor Traders in 1992 with the intent of developing a business where Market Makers could conduct business in a professional manner without conflict or compromise. Recently recapitalized and partnered with DV Group LLC in November of 2016 based in Chicago, IL, ITG can bring significant Financial, Technology and Intellectual resources to our Trading, Marketplace and Issuer stakeholders.
ITG, a Proprietary Trading and Market Making firm, is a member of IIROC, CIPF, the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Canadian Securities Exchange. ITG provides various services such as Price Discovery and Market Making for Traders, Marketplaces and Issuers.

Presently, ITG operates out of two offices in the Greater Toronto Area (Ontario, Canada) employing over 20 Capital Markets professionals and its affiliates within DV Group LLC, have offices in New York and Chicago, employing over 200 Trading professionals.
